Welcome to ‘Metal Detector Reviews’. . . . My name is Jonathan Grimes and to put it simply I am hooked on Metal Detecting. I really can’t get enough of it and can often be found out and about looking for those sweet finds.

Be it beach metal detecting or chasing hammered coins on the land, metal detecting is in my blood and I hope you find the growing amount of content on this website useful.

I don’t claim to be a metal detecting guru, but someone who was bitten by the metal detecting / treasure hunting bug many years ago and has never looked back.

I have over 19 years eperience in metal detecting under my belt and can often be found head down listening for the tell tale signs of those lost hammered coins or the tone that might indicate another gold ring buried in the sand.

I will bring you advice, tips, reviews, finds, articles and anything else that catches my eye with a metal detecting perspective.
